Tony Atkins

Vice President of Broadcast

Tony Atkins joins CFABJ as VP of Broadcast. He is a Milwaukee native who moved to Central Florida in 2022. 

Currently, Tony is a morning show reporter at WESH-TV, the NBC affiliate in the Orlando market. Prior to Orlando, Tony made stops in Milwaukee, Memphis, Pittsburgh and Austin. 

Tony’s experience in television, print and radio offers a unique skillset. As a journalist, Tony works to give voice to people who’d otherwise wouldn’t have their stories heard or told. 

Over the course of his career, Tony has covered events like the Kyle Rittenhouse shooting in Kenosha, WI, the 2016 and 2020 Presidential elections and many other major events over the course of his career. 

Tony is a Milwaukee native and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Tony enjoys the opportunity to help pave the way for the next crop of journalists coming up in the industry.
