Join CFABJ, Saturday, August 11, 2012, as we discuss the death of Trayvon Martin and the case against George Zimmerman. CFABJ has gathered a panel that will shed light on the case, using journalists and public relations specialists intimately involved in the coverage. Susan Vernon-Devlin led a team of crisis management professionals, who helped the City of Sanford manage the city’s image and the media in the weeks after Trayvon Martin’s death. Mark Russell is Editor of the Orlando Sentinel, which continues to closely cover the case. Francis Oliver is a well-known community activist. Jennifer Bisram is one of several reporters who has covered the case since February. We will explore mishaps and lessons learned.
