Travell Eiland joined WESH 2 News in October 2012. He joined WESH 2 News from our sister station, WAPT-TV, in Jackson, Mississippi. There, he served as morning co-anchor.
Before coming to Jackson, Travell served as investigative reporter and fill-in anchor for WBBH-TV in Fort Myers, and reporter, KLAS-TV, Las Vegas; WWSB-TV, Sarasota, and WAND-TV, Decatur, Illinois. Myrt Price joined the eyewitness news team as a general assignment reporter in October of 2012, and he is very excited about making the move to Central Florida. Prior to coming to the Orlando, Myrt worked at WRTV in Indianapolis, WOIO in Cleveland, WDTN-TV in Dayton, OH and WUPW-TV in Toledo, OH. Myrt also made stops in newsrooms in Monroe, LA and Memphis. Myrt is originally from Mississippi and is a graduate of The University of Mississippi. Outside of work, Myrt enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and working out. LuAnne Sorrell joined Fox 35 Good Day in July of 2012. She was born and raised in Minnesota where she graduated from the University of Minnesota. LuAnne began her journalism career at KEYC-TV in Mankato, Minnesota where she was a one-man-band, doing a little of everything, including anchoring and weather.
LuAnne’s hate of cold weather took her to the desert of Las Vegas, Nevada where she worked as a reporter with the CBS affiliate, KLAS-TV. After her 5 year stint in Las Vegas, LuAnne moved to sunny South Florida where she joined WSVN-TV in Miami. LuAnne spent seven years in Miami reporting and anchoring the weekend morning newscast before coming to Central Florida and Good Day as an anchor/reporter for Fox 35. LuAnne has two boys that are the loves of her life. She spends her free time hanging out with her kids, watching sports and basking in the sun.
